To provide differently able children with the necessary care and education to be successful in life. Dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging, safe, and adaptive to each child's individual needs. Continuously thriving for creating employment opportunities and to stimulate their personalities.
I started my career as an Art teacher in Bal Kalyan Sanstha, Pune in 1983. Bal Kalyan Sanstha is a recreation and cultural center for differently able children. I helped the children to recognize their creative channels and also enhance them.
I was later appointed as Manager of Bal Kalyan Sanstha in 2005 till 2013. After that I was appointed as Executive Officer till September 2016, and since then I have started various Vocational courses like embroidery, waste reuse, silk hand painting, pottery, flower arrangement etc. I always wanted to break the clichéd income opportunities for the differently able people and hence came up with these Vocational courses which helped them to be in par with the world’s need. With the help of these courses over 50 differently able youths were self employed or they have obtained a job.

I’m also associated with the National Abilympics Association of India (NAAI) for the past 10 years. Since, then I have actively helped and conducted district, state, regional, and national Abilympics in the country. Abilympics are vocational skill competitions are for persons with disabilities to enable them to showcase and enhance their talent. Abilympics empower the contestants and help create public awareness about their abilities. I have also been privileged to judge the Abilympics competitions. In the year 2010 I was also chosen to judge the competition in Korea.
I’m the pioneer in creating “Sensory Garden” in Maharashtra. In this garden, plants and other design elements are selected with intention to provide experiences for seeing, smelling, hearing, and touching. This garden will help the differently able children to stimulate and relax their senses.
